Good News Club Helper
A Good News Club helper can serve in many ways in our Good News Club program. They can serve/bring snacks, be over a small group of kids, help with registrations, head up a prayer program, order the materials, prepare schedules, and so much more! As a Good News Club helper, you would attend one Good News Club training session.
Good News Club Teacher
A Good News Club teacher can participate in any of the helper roles in Good News Club and teach the materials to the children. The assistant teacher would be able to teach all parts of the club except the Bible lesson and would need to attend two Good News Club training sessions. The Main Teacher is able to teach all parts of the club including the Bible lesson and would need to attend all three Good News Club training sessions.
Summer Good News Club Host
As a host you get the opportunity to build relationships with the children and their families; invite them to come to the club; provide a location (your yard, garage, a park, or a church); provide a simple snack for the children encourage the teenagers teaching; and participate in the Summer Good News Club.
Party Club Host
This is very similar to a Summer Good News Club host, except it takes place for one day instead of for a week straight. The party clubs often are associated with a holiday or a special event.
Christian Youth in Action
This program is designed for highschoolers and college-age students to be able to volunteer for the summer to teach the Summer Good News Clubs. For more information about this click here.
Committe Member
The local committee is so important to the ministry of CEF in North Central WI. The committee meets 9 times a year and is critical to keep the ministry going. They provide support to the staff, make key decisions, serve in the different programs, brainstorm ideas for growth and excellence, and so much more!
In the Office
You can also volunteer in the local office. You can help with newsletters, putting together summer supplies, brainstorming and researching ideas, helping with fundraisers, making phone calls, and much more.
